About Me
My professional journey started with me entering the low voltage controls industry. Ten years later, I decided to refocus my efforts in data science after learning to program control systems and finding a passion for being technically challenged.In April of 2020, I enrolled in Flatirons Data Science Bootcamp, a fast-paced fifteen-week program that fully submerges you in everything Data Science. This program helped to develop my programming toolbox and has set me up for success in a new field.I'm active in the mountain biking community in Anchorage, AK. There are at least fifty miles of mountain bike trails and roughly two hundred miles of recreational trails maintained by volunteers. I'm active within the Single Track Advocates non-profit, which helps maintain the mountain bike trails through group outings.Next on my bucket list is my Private Pilots License. Merrill Field, located in Anchorage, AK, is one of the busiest small aircraft airports in the world. The constant tease of Cessna's flying overhead and the desire to explore deep into Alaska's wilderness have made this a priority in my life.
